Day 1: Ouarzazate – Zagora – Erg Chegaga

• Morning Departure: Begin your journey at 8 a.m. with a 4×4 pickup from your hotel in Ouarzazate.
• En Route: Travel through the lush Draa Valley, stopping at Zagora and Tamegroute, where you can admire the stunning landscapes and cultural heritage.
• Lunch: Stop in M’hamid, the last town before the desert, for a delightful meal.
• Sacred Oasis: Visit this serene spot before heading 15 km into the desert to reach Erg Chegaga.
• Evening in the Dunes:

  • Overnight in the comfort of large tents at a desert bivouac, surrounded by tranquility.

Day 2: Erg Chegaga – Iriki Lake – Foum Zguid – Ouarzazate

• Sunrise and Breakfast: Witness the serene sunrise from the dunes, followed by a hearty breakfast.
• Journey Back:
  • Cross the vast, otherworldly landscape of Iriki Lake towards Foum Zguid.
  • Stop for a refreshing tea or coffee in the lively center of Foum Zguid.
  • Continue through the picturesque Zguid Valley and palm groves to reach Tazenakht for lunch.
  • Enjoy photo stops along the way to capture the region’s stunning beauty.
