Natives Caravan was founded by Abdelghani Hasnaoui, a passionate desert explorer born in the heart of Foum Zguid, a remote Saharan village in southern Morocco. Growing up in a nomadic family deeply rooted in the desert culture, Abdelghani’s journey began by helping his family welcome the first wave of tourists to the Iriki Desert over 20 years ago.

The Hasnaoui family is known for establishing one of the most iconic landmarks in the region — the Titanic Iriki Hotel & Restaurant — a symbol of traditional hospitality and desert charm. After moving to the United States, Abdelghani decided to bring his expertise and love for the Moroccan Sahara to the world through Natives Caravan, blending authentic local knowledge with modern travel experiences.
