Embark on an unforgettable journey to the majestic dunes of Erg Chegaga, the highest dunes in Morocco, and experience the vast beauty of the Iriki National Park.

Program

Morning:

• Departure from Foum Zguid: Start your adventure in a 4×4, taking the famous Paris Dakar pebble track through the stunning landscapes of the Iriki National Park.
• Visit Zaouait Sidi Abdenabi: Stop at a traditional adobe house for a delicious lunch. Relax under the terrace’s shade while admiring the surrounding savannah-like scenery.

Afternoon:

• Journey to Erg Chegaga: Continue on the sandy tracks through tamarisk groves, reaching the breathtaking Erg Chegaga dunes. Upon arrival at the bivouac, enjoy a welcoming cup of tea.
• Explore the Dunes: Take a walk to the top of the highest dune for spectacular views of the “sea of sand” and its serene beauty. Alternatively, opt for a one-hour camel ride to fully immerse yourself in the desert experience.

Return to Foum Zguid:

• Travel back through the expansive dried-up lake of Iriki. Along the way, we will make several photo stops to capture the unique and picturesque scenery.
